SKF bearing originated in 1905. The young Swedish engineer Sven Wingquist, troubled by the frequent damage of the bearing, invented the world's self-aligning double-row ball bearing, bringing the then bearing technology into a new field. SKF was also founded in 1907. Today, SKF still holds the same purpose to promote the development of bearing technology and provide appropriate services for users.
SKF provides more than 20000 kinds of standard bearings. The small ones are tiny bearings weighing only 0.003 grams, and the big ones are giant bearings weighing 30 or 40 tons each. Varieties include deep groove ball bearing, cylindrical roller bearing, spherical roller bearing, tapered roller bearing, angular contact ball bearing, needle roller bearing and many other types. In addition, SKF also provides a series of bearing maintenance tools, grease and bearing monitoring instruments in order to make bearing users obtain higher benefits and achieve trouble-free operation.
